Plain notes — no rankings

What to review ahead of picking a gaming venue

charlesmiller.me keeps it clear: no rankings paid for by the venue being ranked, and no promises about the payout. Just what a newcomer should scan ahead of depositing.

Most of what weighs sits in the rules, and much of it lands quietly. Withdrawal limits, what identity checks apply and wagering requirements are the clauses a newcomer feels afterwards, so they are the ones to read first.

Gambling is entertainment, and not. Once it stops being that, walk away. 18+. Rules differ where you play.

The controls worth finding early

Deposit caps, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are part of what a licence demands. Locate them on a quiet day — they are never advertised and always simpler to use early.

A test question costs nothing

Ask something minor early and clock the reply. A slow answer on an easy question is already blunt about what follows when the question is expensive.

Not every game counts the same

Slots usually count fully while blackjack and roulette count for a fraction, or not at all. Playing the excluded game does not kill the bonus silently — it just stops the counter from moving.
